Hello and welcome to my blog! I am so happy you are here!
Just a little bit about me…
I am a mom to 4 amazing kids who keep growing up, despite my very best efforts to keep them little forever. I am married to Mitch Parrish, my high school sweetheart and the love of my life. We have known each other since we were 12 years old and to this day haven’t run out of things to talk about.
We made Montana our home 8 years ago and haven’t looked back. Montana got into our blood! We are so happy to have mountains around us and the big sky above.
As a family we love to run rivers, hike, and surf – both on the lakes and on the rivers (yes, river and lake surfing are both real).
We also love to travel. Mitch and I have big travel plans for pretty much the rest of our lives and are always looking forward to and planning our next big travel adventure.
As for me, I’m into all kinds of fitness things and am a certified Pilates instructor. I’m also obsessed with my two doodle dogs and I love all kinds of music. For the year 2020, I challenged myself to learn a new song either on the ukulele or guitar for every week of the year. With “great quarantine pandemic of 2020” may actually help me accomplish that goal.
I love photography! I love capturing moments and creating art from behind my lens. I love meeting with the people that I am lucky to meet through what I do. I wish I could say I have one favorite photography subject but I can’t pick one – that’s like asking me to pick my favorite kid!
I love photographing families because I love watching the way a family interacts with each other. I love newborn shoots because it’s the closest to heaven we get in this world. I have so much fun photographing seniors because I am still a 17-year-old at heart, and so I feel like I get to hang out with my people!
I am looking forward to posting my work, my love of travel and nature, and photography tips on this blog going forward. I’m so excited to have a place to share all the things in my head and my heart. So, let’s do this thing!
